D: What are you doing?
J: Setting my alarm.
D: What am I doing?
J: Sleeping.
D: [Slightly mumbled and spoken softly into the covers] Not quite.
J: Huh?
D: [Spoken even softer and still into the covers] Not quite. [Then return to sleep.]
Guess he wasn't sure he'd been sleeping either. WAIT! There's MORE!!!
Later that same night when I woke up Dan suddenly kicks me in the shin with his heel...TWICE! Even though he was asleep I said, "Ouch, Honey, that hurt. You just kicked me." I wasn't even snuggled up close to him for him to be kicking me away. I figured I'd get a bruise from the kicks but surprisingly I haven't.
The next morning I asked him if he remembered either event. He did remember one...KICKING ME! He said he suddenly felt the need to kick and remembers me saying something about it. Of course he remembers that! He's blaming a dream but can't seem to remember the dream. Hmmm sounds a little suspect in my opinion. Good thing this is so far from his normal behavior that we can laugh about it and not be concerned.
