Catch-up Time-Missed Performances

I forgot to mention a performance or two we were involved in recently. Last year Sid was asked to sing in the chorus for Michael McLean's The Forgotten Carols. Before I could get too jealous, Dan and I were asked to join the high school and college singers to help give the choir some maturity, I know ha ha....Anyway, we joined the group and worked hard at memorizing all the songs. Here are a few pictures from the performance night:

Yes, that's my hubby in make-up. It was very odd to watch him put it on...He was too comfortable with the whole process in my opinion.

Sid, in less make-up, decided to try switching shoes with his friend Leann. I actually got him on video strutting his stuff in heals. I'll post it as soon as the video button comes back.

In addition to being in the chorus we were selected to play the Rutherfords, the couple heading to Paris for Christmas (too bad the tickets were fake) and Uncle John camped in "our" house without us knowing.
You gotta love the 70's style clothing we were asked to find. (Thank you DI!)

Three years ago Dan's sister started a patriotic concert for the community called Anthems of America. The first year Dan wrote the script and directed the acting. The second year we attended it together (Dan was living in West Yellowstone and unable to participate.)

This year we were in the choir. As the practices progressed we realized that Dan would need to write the script and call the show, meaning he would tell the stage hands what lights and such need to be done when. With that decision made, Dan had to drop out of the choir, can't be in 2 places at once.

Additionally, Dan and I recorded the script.  Sid did a great job scanning and combining pictures into the script. This will also be loaded once we get the video button back. Sadly we don't have any pictures from this performance so eventually you'll get the video and then you'll be able to learn about Pocatello history. I know, you can't wait!
